Vehicle Trim Engineer - Technical Expert

Become a key technical expert in vehicle trim engineering, focusing on finishing components and system validations.

Your role includes leading technical meetings and ensuring repeatable installations in production.

As a Vehicle Trim Engineer, you will manage technical specifications and coach design teams while acting as the internal reference for technological developments. You'll participate in validation plans and risk assessments to ensure project compliance and success. This role demands expertise in mechanical engineering and product development, as well as strong communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical owner of assigned finishing components

• Prepare and communicate technical specifications to suppliers

• Lead technical meetings with design and manufacturing teams

• Define validation plans and conduct necessary verifications

• Assess risks and propose alternatives for project success

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Proficiency in GD&T and technical writing

• Experience with composite materials

• Membership in Ordre Des Ingénieurs Du Québec (OIQ)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
