L’École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) is seeking qualified candidates to teach aerospace courses at undergraduate and graduate levels. This full-time position requires a PhD in engineering or applied science, coupled with practical industry experience in aerospace operations. Successful candidates will develop a research program focused on spacecraft, satellite systems, and autonomous technologies while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach aerospace engineering courses to undergraduate and graduate students
• Develop and manage a research program in spacecraft operations
• Submit grant applications for funding
• Execute interdisciplinary research projects with diverse partners
• Disseminate research findings through presentations and publications
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Engineering or a related field
• Membership with Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligibility
• Industry research experience, particularly in aerospace
• Proven teaching capabilities in engineering
• Proficiency in French or willingness to learn
