Senior Underground Mining Engineer

Lead underground mining studies and designs for BBA from Quebec locations, applying advanced engineering, planning, and project management expertise. Support clients across Canada and internationally.

As a senior mining engineer, you will deliver consulting services across scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility, detailed design, and NI 43-101 reports. The work combines technical practice, multidisciplinary coordination, business development, and established client relationships. You will contribute to projects involving base and precious metals mining.

• Provide engineering and design services for underground mine studies
• Coordinate multidisciplinary mining engineering projects and assignments
• Design mine infrastructure, ventilation, backfill, and mining services
• Prepare equipment specifications and capital and operating estimates
• Manage technical, people, commercial, and project risks

• Mining or geological engineering degree from a recognized university
• At least 20 years of underground mining experience
• Proficiency with Deswik, Datamine, Vulcan, Surpac, or Minesight
• Professional association membership or eligibility for engineers
• Advanced English and French communication skills
