OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSEWork within the Unreal Sequencer to create pre-rendered and real time cinematic sequences from inception to final delivery.

- Work closely with the Cinematics Director to ensure consistency, quality, and delivery of visually engaging material based on the requirements of the project
- Setting up and assembling scenes within Unreal Engine using available assets
- Animating light and camera, as well as other required motion elements
- Coordinating tasked material with art, narrative, and game design departments
- Communicate with Technical Artists & Animators to resolve issues or assist with new material
- Assembly, rendering, and delivery of tasked work for feedback
- Work with Project Leads to establish accurate estimates to ensure on-time deliverables are met
- 7+ years of experience in a similar capacity
- Very adept with game engine animation and the Unreal Sequencer
- Knowledgeable use of non linear editors such as Premier Pro and Davinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of colour, composition, timing/pacing and visual storytelling
- Understanding of cinematography i.e. lighting, composition, camera movement etc.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, Game Art & Design or equivalent education & experience
- Basic familiarity with Art software i.e. 3dsMax, Maya, Photoshop, etc.
- A passion for storytelling, video games, animation, film & cinematic media
- Strong technical & troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with the Motion Capture process
- Ability to create storyboards and animatics.
- Strong organizational skills
- Participate as a proactive team member to further team and project goals
- Perform other ad-hoc responsibilities as required
- Strong aptitude to continuous learning in/outside work hours
We are open to candidates at Intermediate to Senior levels depending on experience. Intermediate: 4+ years, Senior: 7+ years of experience. Compensation will be based on experience and skill level.
The pay range for this role is:
90, CAD per year (Remote (Canada))
