L’équipe est constituée de sages-femmes avec une riche expérience des soins de maternité en région éloignée. Nous travaillons en interdisciplinarité avec une équipe d’infirmières, de médecins et de travailleurs sociaux afin d’offrir des soins aux femmes qui vivent une grossesse à bas risques ainsi qu’à risques intermédiaires.

Nous faisons partie de l’équipe d’évacuations d’urgences lors d’accouchements prématurés ou tout autre urgence obstétricale ou néonatale. C’est une excellente opportunité pour une sage-femme de vivre l’expérience et les défis professionnels hors du commun de travailler en région nordique. La formation des étudiantes sages-femmes est une priorité pour l'organisation. L’engagement des sages-femmes dans la formation est essentiel et fait partie intégrante de son travail.

The team consists of a Midwife with extensive experience in maternity care in remote areas. We work in an interdisciplinary team with nurses, doctors and social workers to provide care to women who are low and intermediate-risk pregnancies.

We are part of the emergency evacuation team for premature deliveries or other obstetric or neonatal emergencies. This is a great opportunity for a Midwife to live the experience and professional challenges of working in a remote northern area. The training of students is a priority for the organization. The involvement of Midwives in training them is essential and an integral part of their work.
