As a Unix System Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing Unix/Linux-based infrastructures. You’ll play a key role in ensuring system performance, reliability, and automation. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Unix systems administration, shell scripting, performance tuning and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.

• Install, configure, and maintain Unix servers (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
• Perform regular updates, patches, and backups
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and system management
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Collaborate with application teams to support deployments and integrations
• Strengthen system security through access controls, firewalls, and audits
• Document system configurations, procedures, and policies

• Proven experience as a Unix System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
• Proficiency in shell scripting
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools (Zabbix).
• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, etc.).
• Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Professional diploma in IT or a related field (DEP or equivalent)
