Maximize your impact as a Data Engineer in Montreal, specializing in investments data. Design and optimize data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform to meet organizational goals.
As a Data Engineer, you will be tasked with designing, industrializing, and maximizing the efficiency of data pipelines on GCP, utilizing tools like Big Query and Cloud Storage. You'll engage in data lakehouse architecture implementation and automate deployments using Terraform. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver analytics-ready data will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop secure and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on GCP
• Leverage services such as Cloud Run and Dataproc
• Create robust workflows using Prefect
• Manage source code through Git Hub with CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure data quality and compliance with governance practices
Requirements:
• 5 to 10 years experience in data engineering
• Strong background in Big Query and distributed data processing
• Familiarity with microservices-oriented architectures
• Autonomy in modern software development environments
• Excellent French communication skills, intermediate English
