Join a forward-thinking partner company as a Digital Transformation Engineer based in BC, Canada. This role focuses on integrating digital technologies with industrial operations for enhanced efficiency and decision-making.
As a Digital Transformation Engineer, you will bridge the gap between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems. Your mission includes contributing to MES implementations, data integration projects, and industrial analytics initiatives. Collaborating with controls engineers and project managers, you will design and deliver seamless systems that incorporate PLC, SCADA, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure, test, and deploy MES and data integration solutions
• Support end-to-end project delivery and post-launch assistance
• Integrate OT systems with IT enterprise platforms
• Develop dashboards, reports, and APIs for operational insights
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across environments
Requirements:
• 5+ years in industrial automation or digital manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and control systems
• Hands-on with Inductive Automation Ignition and data architectures
• Experience with Python, SQL, and system integrations
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
