Become a Server Operations Specialist at Astreya, focusing on OS deployment and troubleshooting within a data center. Ideal for those skilled in Linux and server hardware management.
We are looking for a Server Operations Engineer II with a solid foundation in technical skills, particularly with Linux and hardware diagnostics. You will work in a fast-paced environment, tackling break-fix tickets, deploying servers, and coordinating vendor interactions for hardware resolutions. Effective communication and multitasking are vital as you navigate multiple priorities and ticket resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle break-fix tickets and server onboarding
• Conduct OS installations through PXE boot
• Collaborate with field technicians for hardware issues
• Maintain accurate inventory and asset records
• Manage and escalate complex technical issues as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Familiarity with out-of-band management tools
• Data center experience with server troubleshooting
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
