Lead Security Engineer at Pipe Security

Join Pipe Security to lead initiatives in cyber protection as a Lead Security Engineer. Focus on Cloud Security, Application Security, and Incident Response in a fully remote setup.

In this key role, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure security compliance and elevate Pipe’s overall security posture. You’ll design robust security standards, work with IT on compliance, and manage SOC II audits. An emphasis on fostering a secure culture will be integral to your daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and design robust security standards and monitoring

• Maintain the policy-as-code platform for quick detection

• Collaborate with Infrastructure for secure cloud deployments

• Manage SOC II audits and maintain compliant processes

• Lead incident response drills and vulnerability disclosure

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with GCP and Kubernetes security

• Proficient in Go, Python, or Type Script

• End-to-end ownership of SOC II compliance

• Experience in incident response and vendor risk management

• Strong written communication for various stakeholders
