Position: Director of Security at Payscale
Location: Quebec City

Lead Payscale's security initiatives as the Director of Security Engineering and Operations in a remote-first environment. Drive strategy while staying hands-on in incident response and tooling implementation.

As a key leadership role at Payscale, the Director will oversee all aspects of security engineering and operations. This includes architecture design, automation, and incident management while mentoring a diverse team. Your expertise in cloud security and vulnerability management will be vital in enhancing Payscale’s security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the security engineering and operations team

• Develop and implement security control strategies

• Mentor team members across various career levels

• Manage incident responses and escalation procedures

• Oversee and improve security tools and integration efforts

Requirements:

• 10+ years in information security, 4+ in management

• Strong foundation in cloud and endpoint security

• Proven experience with security engineering and operations

• Familiarity with Crowd Strike and SIEM platforms

• Scripting skills in Power Shell, Python, or Bash
