This Buyer role within the Purchasing and Planning team is pivotal for managing spare parts from inception to obsolescence. You will engage in demand forecasting, sourcing strategy development, and lead improvement initiatives. The role requires collaboration with Engineering teams and a focus on digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage spare parts lifecycle and obsolescence
• Analyze consumption data to forecast needs
• Plan spare parts requirements and sourcing
• Use MRP and Kanban for inventory replenishment
• Support Engineering Change Notice committees
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or related diploma in Supply Chain
• At least one year experience in manufacturing sector
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Comfortable with functional English
• Knowledge of the SAP system preferred
