Location: Shawinigan
Elevate your career with Michelin as a Spare Parts Buyer in Shawinigan. Manage inventory levels and ensure parts availability with a customer‑centric focus. As a Buyer in the Purchasing and Planning team, you'll play a key role in inventory management and spare parts lifecycle from production to obsolescence.
This position demands skills in statistical analysis, sourcing strategies, and collaboration with various teams. You will also participate in digitalization initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities Manage spare parts lifecycle up to obsolescence
Perform demand forecasting through statistical analyses
Plan and develop sourcing strategies for spare parts
Replenish inventory using MRP and Kanban systems
Participate in Engineering Change Review committees
Requirements Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Supply Chain or related field
Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing
Solid communication and leadership skills
Functional English proficiency
Knowledge of SAP is an asset
Drive inventory optimization and ensure parts availability to support team success at Michelin.
