Lead Buyer in Procurement - Montreal

Elevate your career as a Lead Buyer with a 12-month contract opportunity in Montréal, QC. This onsite position focuses on strategic sourcing and procurement within a leading financial institution.

As a Lead Buyer, you will leverage your expertise in procurement policies and market analysis to align with the Bank's Growth, Technology, and Sustainability plan. You will collaborate across teams in Canada and the US to enhance savings and develop strategic sourcing plans. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building with stakeholders and a deep understanding of procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce CIB NAR Procurement policies effectively

• Conduct market analysis on indirect spending categories

• Build relationships with internal clients and suppliers

• Identify savings opportunities and control improvements

• Develop annual strategic sourcing plans for spend categories

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or similar

• Minimum 7 years in Procurement activities

• Extensive knowledge in strategic sourcing methodologies

• Proven success in contract negotiations

• Bilingual in French and English
