Become a key part of our purchasing team as a Purchasing Assistant, specializing in supply ordering and inventory oversight. Ensure efficient tracking of deliveries and maintain precise order records throughout the process.

We are on the lookout for a Purchasing Assistant to oversee the procurement of supplies and equipment necessary for our operations. The role includes tracking deliveries, updating order records accurately, and making savvy purchasing decisions to ensure inventory is well-stocked at all times. This position is vital for maintaining our supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Send orders via fax or email to vendors

• Track and confirm timely order deliveries

• Update internal databases with detailed order history

• Follow up on orders with suppliers as required

• Work with warehouse staff to ensure quality of products received

Requirements:

• Experience in purchasing or a related field

• Understanding of supply chain management

• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel

• Solid organizational skills for effective task management

• BSc in Logistics or similar field, must be bilingual
