Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Logistics Coordinator takes care of all construction equipment on the project site. He/she controls the rental, maintenance, repair and return of assets, construction equipment and vehicles. The Logistics Coordinator performs his/her duties mainly in the site office (about 75% of the time), while working directly in the field for about 25% of his or her schedule.

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to establish and maintain working relationships, in French and English.
  • Advanced proficiency in spoken and written French.
  • Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English to interact with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, partners, and colleagues at the national level.
  • High level of autonomy and ability to handle last‑minute requests.
  • Excellent team management and conflict resolution skills.
  • High geographic mobility.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of construction machinery would be an asset.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook.
Responsibilities
  • Plan equipment requirements based on the site team's needs in collaboration with the superintendent and foremen.
  • Plan and schedule delivery appointments.
  • Manage the fleet in coordination with the regional logistics coordinator.
  • Update the tracking database with the required equipment and tools.
  • Create and maintain an equipment forecasting model for all equipment suppliers.
  • Ensure the site has all the equipment necessary to complete the job.
  • Manage repairs and asset returns.
