Halifax Material Demand Planning Role

Location: Quebec

Thales is seeking a Material Demand Planner for a hybrid position in Halifax, NS. Your focus will be on managing material orders and coordination with various teams.

In this role, you will receive, implement, and monitor material orders essential for program success. With 1-3 years in military or defense settings, you’ll ensure correct placement and timely delivery of materials while engaging with both procurement and warehouse staff. Strong analytical and communication skills are critical to navigate stakeholder interactions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor material order statuses

• Ensure cost-effective material procurement

• Communicate with DND and internal teams

• Monitor and track material reservations

• Generate updates and exception reports

Requirements:

• 1-3 years’ experience with defense projects

• Excellent communication skills required

• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities

• Experience with procurement or warehousing
