Position: Full-Time Janitor at Kativik Regional Government

Join the Kativik Regional Government as a Full-Time Janitor in Kuujjuaraapik. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, ensuring a tidy environment in offices, restrooms, and common areas.

As a Full-Time Janitor, you will report directly to the Airport Manager. Your responsibilities include cleaning floors, dusting furniture, and maintaining bathrooms to ensure a sanitary atmosphere. With a minimum of 3 months of relevant experience, you must have knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals, and be available for evening or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors

• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors as needed

• Empty wastepaper baskets and manage trash

• Clean and maintain bathroom facilities

• Notify management regarding repairs and maintenance

Requirements:

• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals

• Minimum 3 months of relevant cleaning experience

• Reliable and punctual with work hours

• Ability to commute to and from the airport

• Willingness to undergo training
