In this position at Americold, the Custodial Technician plays an important role in ensuring that all facilities remain clean and comply with safety standards. You will tackle heavy-duty cleaning tasks and keep our environment sanitized, making it a safe space for all employees. Focus on cleanliness while reporting maintenance needs, and learn to operate specialized cleaning equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform heavy cleaning of floors, walls, and ceilings
• Ensure timely removal of waste and debris
• Maintain grounds by keeping them litter-free
• Comply with OSHA safety standards and procedures
• Address pest control issues promptly
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum one year experience in janitorial work
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals and techniques
• Proven ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Strong communication skills
