Bus and truck mechanic | LMIA approved

Camions Globocam Québec et Lévis situated in Lévis, QC is seeking applications for the job position of Bus and truck mechanic who are enthusiastic and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate for this position is expected to start work as quickly as possible. The role being offered is Permanent employment or Full time job. The candidate must work on the day shift.

The position of Bus and truck mechanic has received approval from the LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment).

• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• The candidate must confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace the unit.
• The candidate must discuss work with supervisor.
• The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must inspect motors in operation.
• The candidate will be responsible for reviewing work orders.
• The candidate will be responsible for conducting road tests on vehicles.
• The candidate will be responsible for testing automotive systems and components.
• The candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
• The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• The candidate will be responsible for testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
• The candidate must estimate the parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate will be responsible for advising customers on completed work and future repair requirements.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.

• The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
