Per diem of $150/day if residing more than 70 km from the site

Responsibilities
- Support painting, install insulation, pre-cut cabling and perform metal finishing (grinding, manufacturing, cleaning and bevel polishing);
- Drive trucks and forklifts to ensure material flow;
- Maintain clean and safe areas, manage waste and ensure never to slow down the shipyard's pace;
- Detect deviations, report any non-compliance and maintain tools;
- Work in close collaboration with the foreman in strict compliance with OHS standards.
Skills and qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma (DES), an ASP Construction site card, a DEP in a related field OR significant experience in an industrial environment;
- Ability to read and interpret plans and work orders;
- Be eligible for security clearance from the federal government's Contract Security Program (minimum of 5 years of continuous residence in Canada);
- Hold Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen status;
- Demonstrate versatility, reliability, rigor and good teamwork skills.
