Job Description
AIM is currently looking for a non-ferrous receiver for its AIM Recyclage Victoriaville site. Under the supervision of the site manager, the non-ferrous receiver will be responsible for the general upkeep of the premises. They must also contribute to the proper functioning of production, particularly by sorting ferrous and non-ferrous metals. They must work safely by wearing personal protective equipment and by following safety instructions.
What you'll be responsible for:
• Sorting different types of non-ferrous metals
• Classifying non-ferrous materials and determine the type of material
• Weighing the material
• Operating the forklift
• Performing daily maintenance
• Carrying out the general upkeep of the premises
• Maintaining equipment and assets in good condition
• Cleaning the workstation at the end of the shift
• Entering data into the RECY system
• Providing prices to customers
• Providing excellent customer service
• Assisting with torch cutting when needed
• Preparing shipments and receive materials
• Wearing personal protective equipment
