As a Vertical Farm Technician I, you will work under the guidance of the Production Supervisor, focusing on various farming responsibilities. This role requires you to follow safety and sanitation practices diligently while supporting production goals. Maintaining a clean and efficient work environment is key, ensuring crops are handled safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow Good Leaf Farms Food Safety Policy and sanitation standards
• Perform seeding, harvesting, and packaging tasks
• Collect data on crops for reporting to leadership
• Operate and set up production equipment as needed
• Assist with inventory and shipping activities
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in agriculture or food processing
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in cold temperatures
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills
