Machine-tool operator

The operator uses machines for shaping, forming, stamping and cutting parts.

• Read and interpret customers’ drawings;
• Adjust the machine tools accordingly;
• Operate machine tools and other processing equipment;
• Conduct required maintenance tasks;
• Operate lifting devices and cranes.

• High School Diploma or equivalent or work experience that can substitute the absence of the diploma deemed valid by the employer;
• Knowledge of plan reading;
• Machine-tools operation proficiency;
• Thoroughly master the measuring instruments (caliper, protractor, micrometer);
• Minimum of 6 months in a similar position;
• To be recognized as a reliable, dynamic and resourceful candidate.

• Daytime:
  Monday to Thursday from 7:15 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 7:15 am to 12:15 pm (40 hours per week)
• Evening:
  Monday to Thursday from 4:50 pm to 3:10 am (40 hours per week)
