Location: Quebec City
Join our nuclear manufacturing team at AAA Canada as an RT/UT Welder. You will focus on producing high-quality welds while adhering to stringent safety and technical standards.
In this role, you will leverage a minimum of 5 years of experience in nuclear manufacturing or heavy industrial fabrication to produce welds that meet accepted RT and UT criteria. Reading engineering documents accurately and following ASME Code requirements are crucial aspects of this position. Your technical skills will contribute to the safety and quality of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform various welding processes including SMAW and GTAW
• Work with carbon steel and stainless steel materials
• Interpret welding specifications, maps, and procedures
• Maintain welding standards in accordance with ASME Section IX
• Document production and quality records with precision
Requirements:
• Technical diploma or equivalent welding experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Successful track record in RT and UT inspections
• In-depth knowledge of weld symbols and fabrication standards
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team
