The Conventional Machinist manufactures, modifies, and fits mechanical parts for industrial bakery equipment. Working from blueprints, specifications, and tolerances, you produce custom-made components and small batches. The work includes prototypes and parts supporting engineering or product development.

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and required materials
• Machine metal parts with conventional machine tools
• Select cutting tools and adjust machining speeds
• Inspect dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Perform adjustments, finishing, and basic equipment maintenance

• Vocational diploma in Machining Techniques or equivalent experience
• Relevant conventional machining experience in manufacturing
• Ability to read mechanical drawings accurately
• Knowledge of stainless steel, aluminum, and material properties
• Commitment to occupational health and safety standards
