Operating Room Attendant (Operating Room – Quebec City)
Operating Room Experience Required (orthopedics An Asset)
Location: Quebec City Operating Room
Schedule: Full-time (4 days per week)
Shift: Day shift with the possibility of evening shifts depending on your availability
Salary: $27 to $32/hour, depending on experience

Your RoleUnder the supervision of the operating room manager, you will play a key role in the quality and safety of care provided to our patients.
- Prepare the operating room according to the planned procedures
- Ensure the safe positioning and mobilization of patients
- Accompany patients before, during, and after their procedures
- Assist medical and nursing staff as needed
- Clean and prepare the operating rooms between cases
- Strictly adhere to the protocols, standards, and practices in effect
- Participate in the management and replenishment of medical equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Actively contribute to the quality and safety of care (reporting deviations, vigilance, best practices)
- Required experience as a patient care attendant in the operating room
- Good knowledge of hygiene, asepsis, and sterilization protocols
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with rigor and a strong service orientation
- Good physical condition and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and resourcefulness
- Mandatory training: DEP/PDSB
- Mandatory DEP in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home (APED)
- Strong organizational skills and excellent prioritization skills
- Resourcefulness, autonomy, and initiative
- Empathy, respect, and a human approach to patients
- Team spirit, reliability, and collaboration
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and adapt in a constantly evolving environment
