Night Care Attendant; Levis

Jazz Lévis is currently seeking a candidate to fill a temporary, full-time night care attendant position.

Schedule:

Full-time night shift, 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM, with one weekend on and one weekend off.

Candidates must hold a valid AP/RPA or DEP in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home, or a RAC certificate, or have accumulated 5,000 hours of experience in the last 5 years as a PAB (Personal Care Attendant), current 16‑hour CPR certification, and completed PDSP (Personalized Support Plan).

• Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around.
• Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations.
• Contribute to the development of a residents' action plan based on their observations.
• Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training).
• Respond to all emergency situations.
• While interacting with residents, report any noticeable changes in residents’ mental or physical health to the on‑call nurse.

• Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training.
• Law 90 training (an asset).
• AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home.
