Position: Infirmier(e) d’injection et de perfusion/ Field & Infusion Nurse - 12 Months Contract
Location: Quebec

Primary

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administer medications (IV, IM, and SC) at patients’ homes or in specialty clinics.
  • Monitor reactions pre‑ and post‑injection/perfusion, note and report all activities according to program protocols.
  • Complete documentation as per policies, the College of Nurses, and Innomar ISO accreditation standards.
  • Provide patient / caregiver education on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
  • Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures.
  • Offer reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinic Key Performance Indicators.
  • Communicate and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams (case managers, physicians, pharmacy, scheduling, other departments) to meet established appointment and treatment timelines.
  • Assist patients/caregivers with appointment setup and drug delivery to home and clinic.
  • Participate in regular web‑based team meetings/training with the Business Area Manager, RNE, and Nurse Champion.
  • Participate in specialized client‑related trainings as required.
  • Adhere to professional nursing standards and Innomar procedures.
  • Collaborate within the multidisciplinary healthcare team, overseeing and delegating applicable tasks to RPN/LPN as authorized.
  • Required to travel within designated IBU and surrounding IBUs to meet operational needs.
  • Follow all nursing, clinic SOPs, health and safety standards, and continuous education training.
  • Perform other duties as required by Innomar and may be on standby/on call.
Experience and Educational Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid provincial nursing license.
  • Certificate of CPR for healthcare providers required.
  • Minimum three years of experience as a registered nurse.
  • One year experience with IV initiation and infusion.
  • Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or home‑care is an asset.
  • ACLS, PALs, MS, and CVAA certification, and central venous line/port experience are considered assets.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook (email), MS Word, and other applicable computer programs.
  • Access to an internet connection, cell phone, fax machine, and ability to print.
  • Strong customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision within a large remote team.
  • Willinĝ to travel to clinics and home‑care appointments within a set geographical boundary.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
  • Valid, non‑expired, unrestricted driver’s license and insurance coverage.
