Full-Time Registered Nurse in Cardiac Unit

Location: Quebec City

Join RVH as a Full-Time Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Intervention Unit, providing exceptional care to cardiology patients in a cutting-edge environment. Utilize your critical care expertise while working until August 1, 2027.

In this temporary role, you'll be responsible for the care of patients undergoing procedures in the Catheterization Lab. Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of critical care experience and should have previous Cardiac Intervention Unit experience. You will need to demonstrate strong skills in cardiovascular physiology, arrhythmia interpretation, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily direct care pre and post cardiac procedures

• Assess and evaluate patient outcomes against care goals

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care plans

• Maintain infection prevention and control best practices

• Document all nursing care as per standards

Requirements:

• Current registration with Ontario College of Nurses

• Critical Care Certificate preferred

• One year of critical care experience required

• Experience in pre and post care for cardiac patients

• Strong communication and decision-making skills required
