As a Registered Nurse in Nova Scotia, you will take on a fast-paced role in emergency departments across the province. Applicants should have a minimum of two years of recent emergency nursing experience and an active registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing. This position also emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and requires competencies in administering IV medications and conducting triage assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate nursing care for high-acuity patients
• Lead in complex patient care circumstances
• Collaborate with care teams for optimal outcomes
• Administer medications per hospital standards
• Conduct rapid triage using the CTAS system
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency nursing experience
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Active NSCN registration or eligibility
• BLS — Level C certification required
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
