Laboratory Equipment Clerk
Job Overview
As a Laboratory Equipment Clerk for our Safety Assessment team at the Senneville location, you will support the division and other areas of the company by managing the equipment to be used on studies.
In this role, primary responsibilities include:
- Execute and schedule the verification, calibration, and maintenance of equipment;
- Support the management of requests for equipment or supplies for studies with minimal supervision;
- Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained by observing all safety procedures and working methods, by making proper use of protective clothing and equipment, and by reading, understanding, and following all safety documents issued;
- Ensure that system maintenance and repair equipment data are performed in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), safety procedures and biosafety protocols, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) regulations.
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:
- High School Diploma is required;
- Motivation and curiosity related to laboratory sciences;
- Able to take initiative and solve problems autonomously;
- Able to work physically occasionally (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.).

We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station, John Abbott College and from the REM station of l’Anse à l’Orme to the Senneville site. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station; - Annual bonus based on performance;
- Schedule
:- Weekdays from Monday to Friday;
- You must also be available to work on-call during evenings, nights and weekends, on rotation 1 week out of 4;
- Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
