Port HSE Professional in Quebec

EOSOL Group seeks a Port HSE Professional to manage health, safety, environmental, and security programs in Quebec's port operations. This freelance position ensures regulatory compliance and supports a strong safety culture.

In this project-based role, you will oversee safety during heavy-lift operations and vessel handling, while promoting a "Zero Incident" culture. Your tasks will involve site risk assessments, compliance monitoring, and verification of contractor safety performance. Experience in HSE systems within wind energy and marine environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments

• Lead incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis

• Manage permit-to-work programs (hot work, confined space)

• Oversee compliance with safety standards and regulations

• Deliver safety briefings and environmental awareness sessions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or 5+ years HSE experience

• 3+ years in port operations or heavy logistics

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE management software

• Fluent in English and French for Quebec

• Preferred CSP or CRSP credentials
