Quality Inspector for Energy Projects

Valard Construction is recruiting a Quality Inspector to support Energy Storage and Substation projects nationwide. This position involves extensive travel and is rooted in quality management on construction sites.
In this role, you will work closely with the Quality Manager and Project Managers to ensure impeccable quality control and adherence to regulations. Your responsibilities will include implementing quality plans, inspecting installations, and tracking non-conforming materials. This field-based position spans various sites throughout Canada and requires a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections and quality control on-site
• Develop and adhere to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
• Collaborate with project teams on quality compliance
• Identify deficiencies and monitor corrective actions
• Compile quality documentation packages as needed
Requirements:
• Education in a related field required
• Construction QA/QC experience preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
• Familiarity with power systems is a plus
