Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

The EHS Field Specialist will work across two manufacturing sites, responsible for conducting EHS audits, training staff, and minimizing environmental impacts. Your hands-on engagement will help maintain Hexion's high safety standards and legal compliance, enhancing workplace safety for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments onsite

• Manage documentation for environmental compliance and regulatory reporting

• Create training programs on chemical safety for employees

• Monitor hazardous materials handling and compliance

• Lead EHS initiatives and policy development

Requirements:

• At least 5 years EHS experience in the chemical sector

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field

• Familiar with EHS regulations in Canada and the U.S.

• Strong analytical and communication skills in English and French

• Valid passport for business travel
