Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to support quality requirements, documentation, and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring quality documentation meets applicable specifications, standards, regulations, and internal procedures, while supporting the development and maintenance of control plans and the resolution of non-conformities.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify quality issues, support corrective actions, and ensure documentation and processes remain accurate, compliant, and up to date.

• Review and maintain quality documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, applicable standards, and internal procedures.
• Develop, maintain, and update quality control plans.
• Review quality‑related documentation and identify missing information, inconsistencies, or compliance issues in both content and format.
• Analyze quality requirements outlined within technical specifications and ensure they are appropriately incorporated into quality documentation.
• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to identify root causes, develop corrective action plans, and follow up on their implementation.
• Support the management and resolution of non‑conformities

• Maintain and update quality performance indicators and tracking records.
• Provide documentation and quality support to ensure project and manufacturing requirements are consistently met.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing or technical documentation within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reviewing documentation for conformity, certification, and compliance.
• Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and/or ISO 14001:2015 standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify documentation gaps and inconsistencies.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Internal Auditor training is considered an asset.
• Fluency in French, both written and spoken, with functional English.
• Strong written English skills are required, as the role involves working extensively with English‑language technical documentation.
• Ability to successfully complete the required security screening and obtain the security clearance required under the Federal Government’s Contract Security Program
