Sample Preparation Technician at MSALABS

Elevate your career with MSALABS as a Sample Preparation Technician in Val-d'Or, QC. This full-time role focuses on sample preparation and quality control within the geochemical lab environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a structured environment and can perform tasks such as separating, drying, and crushing samples in line with operational standards. Additionally, you'll ensure quality checks and maintain inventory through our computerized systems while working 7 days on followed by 7 days off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter sample data into computer systems accurately

• Prepare samples according to standard operating procedures

• Conduct quality checks to maintain adherence to standards

• Weigh samples and enter data for accuracy

• Operate crushing equipment for sample processing

Requirements:

• Strong numeracy skills with high attention to detail

• Ability to communicate clearly in English

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Excel

• High School diploma is required

• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs
