The roleThe agronomy internship at Ramo puts you directly into field operations and R&D projects related to cultivated willows. You work alongside agronomists, technicians, and the scientific team.
It is a field and data internship: monitoring experimental plots, characterizing soils, building georeferenced databases, and helping plan field activities.
Responsibilities- Monitor willow plantings and experimental environmental-engineering plots
- Participate in agronomic R&D projects, including fertilization trials
- Characterize soil properties and biomass yields
- Build georeferenced field databases
- Support the planning and monitoring of agricultural activities
- Student in agronomy, plant science, or soil science
- Interest in willow-based phytotechnologies
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, and creativity
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence
- Assets: GIS experience (QGIS), scouting, research, valorization of fertilizing residuals, irrigation, and English
- Paid internship
- Supervision by Ramo agronomists and the R&D team
- A mix of field work and data analysis
- Possibility of extension depending on project needs
