The head cosmetician plans, organizes and controls the operational activities and human resources of the cosmetics department.
Responsibilities:
Ensure exemplary customer service for the cosmetics departmentSet and achieve sales goalsPlan, organize and control the operations of the cosmetics departmentManage purchases and salesManage the cosmetics teamMake contact with customers and ask questions to identify their needsApply makeup and conduct events/presentationsOrganize sales activitiesPerform customer transactionsRecruit and select experienced cosmeticians, oversee the training of cosmeticiansProvide leadership and promote best practices in performance management to all cosmeticiansEnsure good communications with the managers and pharmacists of the storesRequisite skills and knowledge:
A diploma in aesthetics, cosmetology or business management is an assetGood knowledge of cosmetics products and services3 to 5 years experience in management, sales, retail or related field, is an assetExcellent organization, planning and time management skillsStrong skills for coaching and mentoringExcellent customer service and communication skillsGood knowledge of new trendsGood knowledge of both French and EnglishEducation :
