Your focus will be on detection engineering, threat research, endpoint protections, and security machine learning. This position requires a strong technical background and excellent public speaking skills to effectively advocate for Elastic's vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the research agenda for threat detection and prevention

• Set quality benchmarks for our security solutions

• Shape publishing strategies for Elastic Security Labs

• Represent Elastic at industry conferences and events

• Partner with engineering and product teams for execution

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in threat research or detection engineering

• Proven hands-on technical experience

• Excellent public communication skills

• Strong judgment and leadership abilities

• Willingness to travel for engagements
