Security guard in Shawinigan

CHARCO Sécurité is looking for motivated, versatile, and reliable security guards who are available to work on-call for a variety of assignments in the Shawinigan area.

Description of assignments:

• Corporate and commercial security :
  Preventive rounds, access control, customer service — tasks vary depending on the company’s needs.
• Event security :
  Ensure the safety of participants and the site during festivals, shows, and other public events.
• Detainee monitoring (in partnership with the Sûreté du Québec) :
  Camera surveillance with no direct contact. You will alert the SQ in case of suspicious behavior. The only contact with the detainee occurs during meal delivery, through a small window in the cell door, with no physical interaction.

What we offer:

• Salary
  : starting at $21.00/hour + premiums depending on the assignment
• Hours
  : up to 40 hours/week depending on needs
• Schedule
  : day, evening, night shifts – from Monday to Sunday

  : on-call

Requirements:

• Valid security guard license
• Valid first aid certification
• Excellent command of French (spoken and written)
• Clear criminal record and ability to pass a thorough background check
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods (4 to 12 hours)
• Ability to write detailed reports (hourly during the day, every 30 minutes at night)
• Strong customer service skills
