Rural Social Services Worker Position

Join the team as a Rural Social Services Worker, addressing client needs in socio-economic conditions through direct engagement. This seasonal, full-time role features a $22.00 hourly pay and requires travel.

In this role, you will work autonomously across various locations, primarily in rural areas, partnering with non-profit organizations. Applicants are expected to have a secondary school graduation certificate and should also possess a valid driver's license along with a personal vehicle for transportation. Demonstrating effective interpersonal skills will be crucial in helping clients navigate challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with socio-economic needs such as housing and nutrition

• Engage with local communities and deliver supportive services

• Travel to multiple locations and maintain independence in work

• Assess and respond to varying client situations

• Document interactions and maintain confidentiality

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle

• Completed secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Effective judgment and ethical values in client interactions
