Become a Family Wellness Post Majority Support Worker with Kahkewistahaw First Nation. Help youth aged 18-26 by supporting their mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellbeing.
This role is vital for the Family Wellness Program at Kahkewistahaw First Nation. As a Family Wellness Post Majority Support Worker, you will work alongside a dedicated team to provide much-needed support for young individuals and their families. Your focus will be on developing, implementing, and evaluating programs tailored to community needs, all while adhering to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support youth aged 18-26 emotionally and mentally
• Assist in developing and evaluating wellness programs
• Collaborate with the Family Wellness Team daily
• Ensure compliance with First Nation policies
• Address community needs effectively through support services
Requirements:
• Experience in mental or emotional support roles
• Strong understanding of community wellness needs
• Ability to work within established policies
• Experience in program development or evaluation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
