We are Viet Vibe Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering creativity, innovation, and community engagement in Vancouver. We connect the community through sports, music and arts.

You will join the development team, whose mission is to build innovative and high-performance web/mobile applications that support our organization. Our team values collaboration, learning, and cutting-edge technology. We’re looking for motivated entry-level developers to join us and grow their careers in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

- Implement UI/UX designs and optimize for performance.

- Work closely with designers to create seamless user experiences.

- Build and maintain scalable APIs and backend services using Node.js or Python

- Work with databases using Postgre

SQL.

- Implement security best practices and optimize backend performance.

- Work on both front-end and back-end development, bridging the gap between UI and business logic.

- Design and implement fullstack features from concept to deployment.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to build end-to-end solutions.

- Good skills in front-end and back-end

Nice to have:

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent self-taught skills).

- Basic knowledge of web development frameworks (React, Node.js, Django, etc.).

- Familiarity with databases (SQL or No

SQL).

- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

- Skills growth & mentorship with on-the-field developers.
