Join the Fiber Optic Production Lab Test team at VIAVI Solutions, focusing on ARM and DSP firmware development across various architectures. Candidates should bring over 7 years of experience in embedded firmware, demonstrating strong skills in C and C++.

Your role will ensure the delivery of high-quality firmware utilized by telecom operators globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop firmware for ARM and DSP cassettes

• Implement SCPI command protocol for operational control

• Create real-time processing pipelines for optimized performance

• Collaborate with hardware engineers on integration

• Support manufacturing with calibration firmware and tools

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering

• 7+ years of embedded firmware development experience

• Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems

• Hands-on experience with ARM and Linux systems

• Familiarity with debugging tools and CI/CD practices
