Front End Architect; Angular Bécancour

We are seeking a UI/Angular Tech Lead to join the team and take ownership of the front-end architecture across a suite of enterprise applications. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines technical expertise with architectural vision and team collaboration. The ideal candidate will guide UI development best practices, mentor developers, and contribute directly to the evolution of the platform using Angular 19 and modern web technologies.

You will work closely with cross‑functional squads located in Montreal, Glasgow, London, and India, and collaborate with backend leads, product owners, and architects to deliver scalable, performant, and user‑centric solutions.

• Lead the front‑end architecture and development of enterprise‑grade Angular applications.
• Define and enforce UI development standards and best practices across squads.
• Collaborate with backend and full‑stack developers to ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.
• Support and mentor UI developers across multiple squads.
• Contribute to reusable component libraries and shared UI frameworks.
• Occasionally assist with broader architectural decisions across the platform.

• 5+ years of experience in front‑end development, with a strong focus on Angular (v12+), ideally Angular 19.
• Proven experience as a UI Tech Lead or Front‑End Architect in large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript/Type Script, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with component‑based architecture, state management, and modular design.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work with distributed teams and coordinate across time zones.

• Experience with design systems and UI/UX collaboration.
• Familiarity with Java‑based backends and enterprise integration patterns.
• Exposure to cloud‑based environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of data visualization libraries or performance optimization techniques.
