As a Junior Developer at Aether, your responsibilities will include:
Primary Responsibilities- Develop and implement scripts in a serverless environment to automate workflows across applications used by both the Employer and the Employer’s clients, primarily using Python and Zoho Deluge.
- Research, design, and execute API calls to integrate applications efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automations and APIs developed by the Employer.
- Track, manage, and report the status of assigned tasks within the Employer’s project management system.
- Design, edit, and troubleshoot workflows within a GUI-based coding environment
- Draft comprehensive user manuals for automations and functions created by the Employee.

Here are some nice-to-haves that we’re looking for, but don’t necessarily require:
- General understanding of webhooks and API calls
- Experience with OAuth
2.0 authorization - An understanding of relational data, and structural best practices
This position is offered subject to funding being approved through the federal Student Work Placement Program. Funding approval depends on several factors, including student eligibility. To be eligible for this funding program you must be:
- Registered in a Canadian post secondary education institution
Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person with refugee protection given under the law; and
Legally able to work in Canada according to the laws and regulations of the province or territory where you live
Hired as an employee, not as an independent contractor.
This is a full-time, temporary Co-op position with a start date of September to December 2026 based on Co-op term, with option to extend.
This position can be converted into a future job placement. Upon satisfactory performance, the role may transition into a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate.
