Job Description- The client envisions a senior solutions architect whose technical expertise is based on the suite Complete Guidewire (Policy Center, Claim Center, Billing Center), tasked with acting as a technical reference and mentoring developers on this platform.
- The recurring terms in the job description (reference, mentor, best practices, resource person) indicate a technical leadership role that goes beyond the production of traditional architecture deliverables.
- The role combines two distinct dimensions: formal enterprise architecture (repositories, Archimate notation, architecture documents, non-functional requirements) and deep product expertise in Guidewire configuration (Gosu, PCF pages). This implies a hybrid profile rather than a generalist architect without product-specific knowledge.
- This role should not be confused with a senior Guidewire developer position: the role explicitly requires the production of architecture documents, supporting teams in detailed design, and communicating with diverse audiences (business, functional, management, scrum masters, delivery managers), not just configuration or development.
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or a related role
- 5+ years of experience with the Guidewire suite (mandatory for this position)
- Proficiency with Policy Center, Claim Center, and Billing Center
- Proficiency with Gosu and PCF page configuration
- Fluency in spoken and written French
DESIRED
- Knowledge of Guidewire suite APIs
- Proficiency in one or more architecture frameworks, including Archimate notation
- Experience in cross-application integration (APIs, Web Services, event-driven architecture)
- Experience in deployment on-premises and cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, CaaS)
- Experience with the microservices approach
Communication skills with diverse audiences (business, functional, management, scrum masters, delivery managers)
ASSET
- Knowledge of Guidewire's APD (Advanced Product Designer)
- Guidewire Certification (Associate, Specialist, or ACE)
WHAT WE DON'T WANT
- Candidates without demonstrated direct experience with the Guidewire suite (Policy Center, Claim Center, Billing Center)
- Candidates with less than 5 years of specific Guidewire experience
- Candidates without experience configuring Gosu or PCF pages
- Candidates whose application only shows Guidewire development projects, without solution architecture projects
- Candidates without a formal product or co-product architecture portfolio (design documents, non-functional requirements)
