JOB SUMMARY
The Dev Ops Developer's role is to manage the transition between project planning and software deployment while developing pipelines, configuring systems, and performing diagnostic tests throughout the stages of development. To ensure success as a Dev Ops Developer, the ideal candidate has experience in Dev Ops engineering. Outstanding Dev Ops Developers optimize and enhance a company's software deployment and performance methods.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborating with developers on software requirements, as well as interpreting test stage data.
Completing code and script updates, as well as resolving product implementation errors.
Overseeing routine maintenance procedures and performing diagnostic tests.
Documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
Conforming to best practices in network administration and cybersecurity.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Adhere to established policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Code Deploy, Lambda, RDS, and Load Balancing.
Familiar with containers.
Knowledge of Git Flow and CICD pipelines.
Works as critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
Ability to utilize various open-source technologies.
Ability to build independent web-based tools, microservices and solutions.
Write scripts and automation using Python and Bash.
Experience managing source control - GIT is a plus.
Experience planning, creating, configuring, documenting and maintaining:
Branching/merging strategy for Azure Dev Ops.
Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline is a plus.
Experience implementing automation to improve development and release processes.
Ability to work with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
WORK EXPERIENCE - MINIMUM REQUIRED
3 years of related experience
