As Engineering Manager, you will guide backend and full-stack engineers owning inference APIs, SDKs, and the Cohere Dashboard. You will manage, mentor, and grow the team while developing API capabilities, supporting model releases, and improving customer administration. The work spans team management, technical strategy, and hands-on collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, mentor, and grow backend and full-stack engineers
Participate in model releases and develop API capabilities
Collaborate with Modelling and Model Serving teams
Partner with UX designers on customer administration experiences
Oversee and contribute to open source projects
Requirements:
Experience managing engineering teams and delivering high-quality software
Experience shipping products with numerous stakeholders
Experience with Go, Next.js, Type Script, and React
Passion for recruiting and growing people and teams
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Bring engineering leadership, full-stack fluency, and customer-focused API judgment to Cohere’s APIs and Dev Ex team.
